Summary
Reporting to the
Reservations Manager, the Reservations Officer carries out Room
Sales via telephone or correspondences, ensuring that all
information furnished to guests are accurate and appropriate.
He / she will ensure that all data entry into systems are error
free.
Key
Responsibilities
Ensure that all correspondence are replied within 24
hours.
Ensure prompt and accurate answering of
all incoming calls within 3 rings.
Suggest
appropriate or ideal package to guests according to the information
that was provided.
Ensure that all follow-up
are done promptly and efficiently.
Upsell
wherever possible.
Ensure that all bookings
are retrieved and entered into PMS within the same day.
Ensure that all daily reports are printed
promptly.
Ensure that daily tasks of no-show,
traces, missing correspondence and car transfer reports are
followed up promptly and
efficiently.
Key
Requirements
At least
1 year experience in hotel industry (any department)
Fluent in
English (Written and Spoken)
Excellent
telephone etiquette
