Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit materials for safety licensing and other permits
Design, establish and digitise procedures for inventory and safety management, including selection and implementation of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
Plan, implement and optimise layout and infrastructure for placement and storage of R&D inventory, utilising Lean tools (e.g. Kaisen, 5S, Kanban) where desirable and feasible.
Coordinator selection, purchase, delivery and ommissioning of scientific equipment and consumables.
Test-run and troubleshoot workflows.
Propose / curate ideas for improvements including but not limited to automation, in compliances with organization's framework.

Requirements

Min Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences or relevant discipline

At least 3 years of experience managing laboratory operations for chemistry of biochemistry R&D.

Must have prior experience in setting up a greenfield or brownfield facility

Track record and / or demonstrated passion in operational excellence.
