QA Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting gauges and preparation /issuing of inspection sheets and gauging procedures
• Perform incoming check and verification of raw materials, customers supplied materials, sub-con operations and instruments;

1. Dimensional verification 2. Hardness check 3. Mill Certificate Verification 4. VTI 5. Short term rental gauges

• Perform final check on finished parts and routers/documentation/inspection sheet ensuring compliance to licensor’s / customers’ requirements
• Conduct scheduled daily phosphate titration test and monthly coupon test
• Perform threading inserts verification
• To raise Non-Conformance / Incident Reports on discrepancy discovered
• To conduct internal process audit
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of gauge room
• Responsible for ensuring work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures

Requirements:

• NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Precision Engineering
• Min 2 years experience in precision/ oil & gas industry
• Shift timing: 8 - 530pm (may have 2 hours OT), 730pm - 5am (+2 hours OT)
• basic salary + OT + $100 transport allowance + Shift allowance ($17 per night shift)
• Malaysians get extra $100 housing allowance (if staying in Malaysia)
