Automation Engineer #HVW

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with all departments to help put together solutions to develop plant automation strategies.
• Lead automation projects from conceptual plan through implementation into existing plant processes.
• Manage other engineering projects based on business needs and capital spending plan
• Manage project schedule and budget to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Facilitate collaborative project meetings to evaluate and assess changes to existing processes and personnel due to automation.
• Collaborate with all departments to implement SOP / department changes to implement automation
• Develop communication and training plans for new projects.
• Collaborate with IT and plant operations to provide automated information solutions for real time data based decision making and scorecards.
• Follow established equipment Lockout / Tagout procedures as required without fail.
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations per established company policies.
• Provide out-of-hours technical support to address and rectify technical issues and queries per rotational basis
• Support Lean Manufacturing environments and Continuous Improvement through engineered solutions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
