The Edge Singapore is looking for journalists to expand the team and help bring this independently-owned media company to the next level. For more than 20 years, we have earned a reputation for providing in-depth, yet timely coverage of the local corporate scene as well as the financial and property markets.

Our team of award-winning journalists produce both long form, in-depth articles, as well quick turnaround breaking news of Singapore listed companies, asset managers and property that are of interest to investors. As the Singapore market gets livelier with the Straits Times Index at a new high, we are looking to expand the team to provide wider and in-depth coverage.

As part of our job, we talk to CEOs, analysts, economists, industry experts and various other newsmakers for their views and insights on how markets and economies move the way they did. With each and every week, we meet new people, make new friends, build up more relationships and help these newsmakers and tell their stories.

Requirements :

Successful candidates will need to have an understanding of how journalists function. We need you to be proficient in writing clear and accurate stories under varying degrees of deadline pressure. Things are always moving and not in an exactly orderly manner so have the mental fortitude to cope with the varying tempo. And of course, we need you to have a certain degree of interest in financial and property news.
