Job description

Locations : Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore, Australia (Sydney, Melbourne), Hong Kong, New Zealand (Auckland), Philippines (Manila), Thailand (Bangkok)

Role Overview :

As a member of the Technical Pre-Sales Department, you will work closely with the Sales Team to position our Portfolio of Solutions, drive field Systems Engineers in their projects and report product evolution requests to Product Management.

Responsibilities :

  • Member of the CSE team covering the APAC region (with some infrequent travel to EMEA).
  • Second level of pre-sales support assisting the SE organization : in responding to RFPs / RFIs : design, solution specification, product information. in supporting key projects to ensure the best possible technical outcome. in leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value. in conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations and POCs.
  • Being responsible to build technical material to support sales activities (slideware, solution brief, white papers, success stories, etc.) and design workshops.
  • Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel.
  • Point of contact for the Product Management team : responsible to report and consolidate customer needs across APAC, validate business case, write and prioritize feature requests.
  • Report project activities, analyse project trends and provide market vision.
  • Participate in the development of commercial strategies.
  • Participate in seminars.
  • Travel as required throughout the APAC region.
  • Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSE’s to provide your input on product direction and strategy.

Requirements :

  • Pre-sales experience (6 years).
  • Vendor experience.
  • International experience.
  • Strong understanding of TCP / IP, Routing, Switching, Network Security.
  • Expertise level in the following areas : Advanced Threat Protection; including EDR Technology and Ethical Hacking (ideal technology exposure should include EDR and NDR). Additional skills should include a good understanding of Threat Intelligence analysis and Automated Response. Hands on experience with Kali and Linux pen testing systems.
  • Strong presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry.
