Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture and document business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the analysis and functional design of the Fircosoft upgrade, ensuring smooth migration from v6.5 to newer versions.
  • Serve as the liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on requirements and deliverables.
  • Define test strategy and validate that test cases fully address business requirements.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Participate in defect triage and resolution, ensuring business priorities are addressed.
  • Provide business process insights and recommendations related to payment screening and sanctions monitoring.

Requirements :

  • Degree in Information Technology or any related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within payment screening / sanctions monitoring projects.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Fircosoft, preferably with experience in upgrades (v6.5 to newer versions).
  • Good understanding of SWIFT / MT message formats and payment flows.
  • Experience preparing FSDs and test documentation in a financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
