Instrumentation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing instrument list and I / O list.
• Verifying and purchasing instruments which are related to the project specification.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, stimulation and calibration of field instruments such as flow, temperature, level, pressure transmitters and switches, load cell and pressure gauges calibration.
• Experience in installation, testing and commissioning of thermal mass flow meters.
• Checking and trouble shooting the limit switches and proximity sensors.
• Troubleshooting solenoid operated valves.
• Testing, checking and troubleshooting of automation instruments.
• Knowledge on troubleshooting of all measuring & maintenance sizing of Instruments like (Pressure, level, flow and temperature) transmitters, gauges, RTD & Thermo couples, conductivity, pH transmitter, compressor, Air dryer, On-off Valves, control valves & MOV's Servo valves, solenoid operated butterfly valves.
• Knowledge in maintenance of various online analyzers such as Fluoride (HACH C610, ABB AZTEC 600), Ammonia (Instran, Ammonia, ABB Aztec 600), Chlorine Analyzer (PI Cronos, Hydro), PH analyzer (HACH, Emerson, Horiba, Mettler Toledo), Turbidity analyzer (HACH), Conductivity analyzer (HACH, Emerson,Mettler Toledo).

Responsible for site planning and supervision of work schedule

Updating of daily work status to Planner

Attend coordination meeting

Manages the daily activities in an efficient and productive manner

Monitors the daily work logs of all assigned subordinates.

Schedule worker overtime during peak periods or whenever necessary

Strictly enforce company and government-dictated work and safety rules Requisition necessary materials and stock replacement parts to ensure continuity of smooth operations

Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in sound working order

Oversee on-the-job training of probationary workers Ensures adherence to safety policies, procedures and practices

Responsibilities : :

GCE ‘N’ Level / GCE O Level / ’A ‘Level / Dipolma / Professional Certificate / NITEC or equivalent

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience

Understand industry safety practices

Working Location : Able to travel to Water Treatment Plant in Western Area, Singapore & Water Treatment Plant in Johor Kota Tinggi, Malaysia. Transport will be provided

5 days work week.
