Provide a range of Consultant QuantitySurveying duties from project inception through tocompletion
Preparation of pre-contract costestimates, cost plans, budgetary study and projectcash-flow
Measurement (taking off quantities)for all structural and architectural elements
Preparation of tender and contractdocumentation
Tendering process and tenderevaluation
Post-contract administration andmanagement such as valuation of progress payment, review ofvariation request order, variation assessment, financial reviewreports
Finalization of project finalaccounts
Attendance at project and sitemeeting
Requirements
Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Building,Quantity Surveying or equivalent from recognizeduniversities
Minimum of 2 years (for JuniorQS) and 4 years (for QS) of QS relevant working experience withboth private and public sector clients and preferably withknowledge of SIA and PSSCOC forms of contract.
Work experience gained from consultancy firm will be anadvantage
Good technical knowledge formeasurement, cost estimating and construction technology
Understand and familiar with professional practice andcontract administration processes
Able to workas a team player and multi-task on few on-going projects / assignments
Resourceful, independent,responsible and able to work in a challenging and fast pacedenvironment
