Senior Project Manager (A1 Construction)

Our client, a well-reputed A1 main contractor is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the full project cycle of large-scale construction developments in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, proven leadership abilities, and a solid track record of successfully delivering end-to-end projects in accordance with contractual, quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects—from project planning, site mobilisation, and execution, to commissioning and final handover.

Lead and manage the site team, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring coordinated execution of works in accordance with project specifications and timeline.

Monitor project performance and ensure timely delivery, within budget and quality expectations.

Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans, method statements, and necessary documentation for execution and compliance.

Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and resolve technical and coordination issues promptly.

Collaborate closely with the Contracts, Safety, and Design teams to ensure alignment across functional areas.

Report to Project Director and / or Senior Management on project status, risks, milestones, and any issues requiring escalation.

Drive compliance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) standards and lead by example in upholding site safety and environmental practices.

Manage project budgets and cash flow in coordination with the Contracts team.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 full project cycles completed as Project Manager on large-scale developments (e.g., residential blocks, commercial buildings).

Strong knowledge of local construction codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in Singapore.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to handle project complexity and manage cross-functional site teams under tight timelines.

Familiarity with LTA, BCA, or public sector project protocols will be advantageous.
