Senior / Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre)

Our client is looking for a Senior / Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre) to join their team. The OT Nurse will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, assist during surgical procedures, and ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality operating theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain the operating theatre environment, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
• Monitor patients vital signs and condition before, during, and after surgery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Document surgical procedures, patient information, and intraoperative care accurately and timely.
• Manage surgical supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in the preoperative assessment and postoperative care of patients.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and attend relevant training sessions.
