Accounts Assistant Work Duties / Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Accounts Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Liaising with third parties.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
Accounts Assistant Qualifications / Requirements
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.Analytical thinker and problem solver.Associate’s diploma in related field with work experience.Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software.Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with basic accounting principles.Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.High level of accuracy.Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.Administrative skills.The ability to work under pressure.Tell employers what skills you have
