Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimize manufacturing processes, including fixture and gauge design.
Handle quotations and manage production programs.
Implement Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous process improvements.
Plan and schedule operations using ERP systems.
Prepare NC programs , including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from Aluminium, Titanium, to Inconel 718.
Develop probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, and dimension checks.
Control machining cycle times, including in-machine activities such as probing, machining, and cutter checks.
Manage overall machining costs, considering cycle time and tooling expenses.
Work with the MRB team to troubleshoot non-conformance issues.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering .

Minimum 3 years of experience in 5-axis programming using Mastercam .

Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining, macro programs, error proofing, and machine codes .

Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) .

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and presentation abilities.

Travel overseas as required for test cuts in subsidiary facilities.
