Job descriptionMinimum of 3 years of relevant safety experience, with a proven track record in the construction or renewable energy sector, specifically on solar PV projects (rooftop and / or ground-mounted). Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) Certificate in Developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan Occupational First Aid Course Certification WSQ Certificate in Managing Work at Height WSQ Certificate in Supervising Safe Lifting Operations
Roles & Responsibilities
Join our team as a Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) professional and play a critical role in ensuring safety across our solar project sites in Singapore. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to manage and enforce safety compliance for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safety Compliance & Inspections : Ensure full safety compliance at solar project sites, conducting regular inspections and enforcing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Risk Management : Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective control measures to mitigate hazards.
- Safety Leadership : Lead safety inductions, daily toolbox meetings, and site safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture among all workers.
- Incident Management : Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring prompt follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Emergency Preparedness : Support the planning and execution of emergency drills.
- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare, maintain, and update all required safety documents, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Fall Prevention Plans, and Lifting Plans.
- Stakeholder Liaison : Act as a key liaison for safety matters with site teams, clients, and regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Record Keeping : Maintain meticulous safety records, logs, and reports.
