The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) distinguishes itself through research excellence directed towards outcomes of industry relevance. The focus is on system level energy research for tropical megacities. ERI@N is committed to building strong alliances with government agencies, leading industry players, SMEs and global universities to support Singapore’s sustainability objectives and energy transition. The Institute hosts Interdisciplinary Research Programmes, Flagship Programmes, an Accelerator Programme and the Standards Development Organization. The scope covers the energy value chain from energy generation to innovative end-use solutions.

We are looking for an innovative Research Associate to take on the anticipated challenges that face the largescale deployment of BESS in the future.

Key focal areas include :

• Control of BESS assets operating within unconventional electrical grids.
• Modeling and simulation of BESS within large, interconnected networks.
• Diagnostic methods to ascertain BESS state of health and remaining useful life.
