Job Description & Requirements
This is a unique, hybrid role designed for a skilled and certified Pilates Instructor seeking to transition into studio management. The successful candidate will dedicate time to both high-quality Pilates instruction (private sessions) and hands-on studio operations and administrative management. This position serves as a direct pathway to becoming a full-time Studio Manager.
Key Responsibilities :
Pilates Instruction & Client Service (60%)
- Instruction : Teach a regular schedule of private Pilates sessions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and technique.
- Client Retention : Build and nurture a dedicated client base, focusing on long-term client retention and providing exceptional, personalised service.
- Sales & Scheduling : Actively consult with clients on packages, memberships, and progression plans.
- Mentorship : Potentially assist in basic shadowing or onboarding of new instructors on studio equipment and client flow.
Studio Operations & Management Training (40%)
Daily Operations : Oversee the studio's daily opening / closing procedures, ensuring the space is clean, organised, and aesthetically pleasing.Administrative Support : Manage client bookings, registration, billing, and payment processing using the studio management software.Facility & Equipment : Conduct regular checks on all Pilates apparatus, reporting and coordinating maintenance and repairs promptly.Inventory Control : Manage inventory of studio supplies, retail merchandise, and administrative materials.SOP Compliance : Learn and enforce the studio's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleanliness, safety, and client interaction.Career Progression & Evaluation :
This role is intended to progress into a dedicated Pilates Studio Manager position within 12 months, contingent upon performance in the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
Client Retention : Maintain strong client retention and satisfaction levels for private sessions.Operational Excellence : Ensure studio operations consistently meet luluto’s SOP and brand standards.Team Growth : Demonstrate progress toward leadership capability through effective coordination and communication with instructors.Facility & Experience : Maintain a professional, clean, and well-managed studio environment that reflects luluto’s premium positioning.Qualifications :
Current, comprehensive Pilates certification (e.g., Polestar, BASI, Stott, Balanced Body, etc.) with a minimum of 1 years of teaching experience is a plus pointProven experience in a management or leadership role, preferably within a boutique fitness, wellness, or similar service environment.Strong desire and aptitude for taking on management and leadership responsibilities.Exceptional organisational skills, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (essential for both teaching and management tasks).Proficiency in studio management software is a significant advantage.Ability to work flexible hours, including a combination of peak-time classes, evenings, and weekends.Tell employers what skills you have
