To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute in improving our search system performance and scalability. The position reports to the Head of Algorithm and will work in close conjunction with the Product, Algorithm / Data Science, and various Engineering teams

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Write high-quality, clean, maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
• Synergize with the wider Engineering team to achieve product goal objectives with agreed timelines
• Optimise and enhance our API / service performance and stability
• Work with the back-end development team to create and optimise solutions
• Work with QA (Quality Assurance) team to perform manual testings and automation testings to achieve the best product quality and improve engineering efficiency
• Work with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to ensure that deployed software can meet the required service level
