About Us :

Insect Technologies Group operates Black Soldier Fly (BSF) farms in Malaysia and Indonesia. We export BSF dried larvae, oil, and protein to the United States and other global markets, serving the pet food and animal feed industries. We are scaling rapidly and seek motivated talent to drive new growth opportunities.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to support the company’s expansion into new markets and partnerships. This role involves business development , sales support , and market analysis . You will be responsible for building the sales pipeline, engaging clients, and closing deals with both local and international partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in Singapore and overseas.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with distributors, importers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations , proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure timely follow-up to close deals.
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to align client requirements with production capacity.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline management in CRM systems.
  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns for targeted markets.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of business development or sales experience (B2B preferred). Fresh graduates with strong drive will be considered.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with cross-border trade and dealing with international clients.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Prior exposure to agritech , animal nutrition , or sustainability sectors is an advantage.
