The Institute of Microelectronics (IME) is a research

institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research

(A

  • STAR). Positioned to bridge the R&D between academia and

industry, IME's mission is to create innovative technologies and

add value to Singapore's semiconductor industry by enabling

enterprises to be technologically competitive through R&D and

cultivating a technology talent pool to inject new knowledge to the

industry.

The Business Operations Dept in IME is

looking for a resourceful self-starter to develop, manage its

marketing and communications portfolio. The staff is expected to be

responsible for marketing IME, managing communications to the

external and organizing related marketing events. The staff will

have opportunities to work across R&D departments and with the

Tech-Biz group within IME to market IME's

technologies.

Job

Responsibilities : Marketing

Strategy & Execution

Develop, manage, and implement marketing and

communication strategies aligned with the allocated

budget.

Design and develop marketing decks and

materials (such as e-newsletters, brochures, eDMs, and reports

ensuring consistency in branding, layout, and house style) for

IME's participation in external events such as international

conferences and

tradeshows.

Content

Creation & Management

Manage content related to IME's external visits and

events across online and social media platforms, ensuring timely

updates and audience engagement.

Coordinate

with A

  • STAR Corporate Communications team to draft and review press
  • release

    content.

    Website &

    Digital Presence

    Collaborate with technology departments to enhance IME's

    website content, user experience, and functionality to better

    attract and retain visitors and

    customers.

    Job

    Requirements : Degree

    in marketing and communications (mass communications) with

    strengths in writing and / or specialization in strategic

    communications.

    Knowledge and experience in

    managing social media, digital content creation, design, and

    writing.

    More than 3 years of experience in

    marketing and communications, or equivalent role.

    Familiarity with project management and the

    microelectronics or semiconductor industry is an

    advantage.

    Proactive, creative, responsive,

    detail-oriented, with the ability to work quickly across shifting

    priorities and tight timelines with the goal of delivering

    best-in-class service, quality, and accuracy.

    High degree of confidence, adaptability, and

    professionalism in interacting and communicating with partners,

    government agencies, high-profile leaders in the industry and

    education institutes.

    Skilled in HTML, digital

    design software such as Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator is an

    advantage.
