Job descriptionProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software. Strong understanding of construction design principles. Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project teams. Associate's degree in Architecture, CAD technology, or a related field (or relevant certification). Experience in drafting for construction or engineering projects is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare technical drawings based on designs provided by architects, engineers, or project managers.
- Create layouts, blueprints, and detailed drawings for construction.
- Work closely with engineers or architects to understand specifications and make necessary adjustments.
- Revise designs and drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines in all drawings.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop design ideas and provide support in construction projects.
- Prepare as-built drawings after project completion to reflect any modifications made during the construction phase.
- Maintain an organized system of files and records of all designs and drawings.
