Job SummaryAs Section Manager of ICT & Financial Business, you will lead the organization to achieve profit targets through strategic sales, promotion, and new business development in ICT and Financial industries.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement business plans for ICT and Financial Business by leveraging available resources to drive growth and profitability.
- Monitor, update, and report the progress of business plans regularly to senior management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Lead sales and promotion efforts for used mobile phones to existing distributors and wholesalers across Asia and Oceania (AOA) to expand market reach.
- Identify and develop new distributor and wholesaler clients for used mobile phones to increase sales volume.
- Expand rental business for used mobile products, particularly tablets, by collaborating with partners to increase rental volume and revenue.
- Collaborate with Tokyo headquarters and regional branches to develop new trading opportunities for IT products and gadgets, including mobile phone accessories, laptops, network servers, headphones, and speakers.
- Research, identify, and develop new business opportunities in ICT and Financial sectors such as System Integration, Business Process Outsourcing, Healthcare Technology, Mobile Phone, and Fintech by engaging with financial institutions and venture capitalists in AOA.
- Create and evaluate investment opportunities in start-ups that support and expand the Tokyo headquarters' business by reporting on the latest ICT and Financial industry trends in AOA.
- Provide strategic support to portfolio companies in ICT and Financial business within AOA to facilitate their business expansion.
- Coach and motivate the GPR group team to enhance their performance and contribution towards achieving business objectives.
Required competencies and certifications- Proven work experience in ICT-related companies with strong knowledge or experience in the used mobile phone business.
- Experience in investment activities such as start-up or venture fund investments, and/or mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese language to liaise effectively with Japanese-speaking counterparts in the region and at Japan headquarters.

- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with an open-minded and sensitive approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas in both written and verbal forms to management, staff, vendors, and suppliers across AOA and Tokyo headquarters.
