Operations Manager (Detailing & Wrapping)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our detailing and vehicle wrapping division . This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and operational expertise to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate will manage daily workshop operations, lead the detailing and wrapping team, maintain customer satisfaction, and optimize workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations for car / bike detailing and vehicle wrapping services.
Ensure efficient scheduling of jobs, manpower allocation, and workflow optimization.
Maintain stock and manage inventory of films, chemicals, and equipment.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent quality.
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate detailing and wrapping staff.
Set performance targets, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Enforce safety and cleanliness standards within the workshop.
Quality Assurance
Conduct final inspections of detailing and wrapping jobs before handover.
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and customer expectations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues quickly.
Customer Relations
Act as the point of contact for escalated customer concerns.
Work with the sales team to understand client needs and ensure smooth handovers.
Maintain strong customer satisfaction and service reputation.
Business Development Support
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Assist management in introducing new services, packages, and promotions.
Provide insights on market trends in car / bike detailing and wrapping.
Job Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 5 –8 years of experience in vehicle detailing, paint protection film (PPF), or car / bike wrapping operations.
Strong understanding of detailing techniques, vinyl / PPF application, and workshop operations .
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
Skills
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Good knowledge of inventory management and workflow planning .
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
