Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of stores & spares & provision, equipment and survey for all assigned vessels
• Coordinate with Superintendent & Master for all requisition received from vessels
• Work closely with company approved suppliers
• Make price comparison of the suppliers and present to Superintendent for approval
• Generate Purchase orders and obtain approval from Procurement Manager
• Ensure Supplier acknowledgement receipt of all orders.
• To arrange dispatch of item, keeping in mind the urgency of goods required on board.
• To ensure all vessels acknowledge delivery when item are received in good order
• Work closely and report to manangement
