Our client is a well-established retail bank and they are seeking a talented and innovative Software Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge banking solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure banking applications, ensuring seamless digital experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement secure, high-performance banking applications and APIs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and business analysts, to deliver innovative digital banking solutions.

Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices in software development.

Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.

Maintain and enhance existing digital banking systems, ensuring stability and continuous improvement.

Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in fintech and software engineering.

Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprints and contributing to continuous integration and deployment.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity standards in all software development processes.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably within fintech or banking environments.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture.

Strong understanding of API development, databases, and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, and compliance standards in digital banking.

Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Agile methodologies and CI / CD pipelines is a plus.
