Chef de Partie - Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of preparation, quality, and presentation. Key Responsibilities :
- Manage your designated station (hot, cold, pastry, etc.) during prep and service.
- Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Work closely with the Sous-Chef and Head Chef to support daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP, NEA standards).
- Train and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
- Monitor stock levels and inform Sous-Chef of shortages or issues.
- Uphold portion control, waste management, and kitchen efficiency.
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef in a reputable kitchen.Solid knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.Strong sense of responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail.Passion for quality food and continuous learning.Familiarity with food safety standards in Singapore (HACCP, NEA) preferred.
