We are looking for a Junior
Butcher cum Customer Service staff to
join our retail shop team. This role combines hands-on butchery
work with customer interaction, ensuring high standards of product
quality, cleanliness, and
service.
Key
Responsibilities : Cut,
trim, debone, and portion meat products (beef, lamb, pork, poultry)
according to company standards
Maintain
product display and ensure freshness of meat and deli
items
Handle customer inquiries, provide
product recommendations, and process sales transactions
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
at all times
Assist with receiving, storing,
and rotating stock to maintain inventory accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including
counters, equipment, and cold storage
Support
overall store operations as
required
Job
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of butchery
experience preferred.
Basic
knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques
Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented
attitude
Good communication skills and ability
to work as part of a team
Physically fit and
comfortable working in a chilled environment
Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and retail
hours on a rotational
basis
