Roles & Responsibilities
The Assistant Executive is responsible for :
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) based on approved purchase requests.
- Verify order details such as quantity, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Support the buyer to maintain no out-of-stock situation.
- Coordinate and apply for import and export permits
- Coordinate with warehouse / logistics on goods delivery and stock receiving.
- Monitor stock level and alert buyer of stocks that requires replenishment.
- Accept orders from suppliers when buyers are unavailable.
- Monitor incoming stock and flag discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update the procurement system.
- Update product pricing, vendor details, inventory movements, and stock availability promptly and accurately.
- Handle reject / return of defective inventory and facilitate the return process
- Generate basic procurement reports (e.g., PO status, supplier performance).
- Provide general admin support to the procurement department.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience Required
Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related fieldGCE “O” or “N” or equivalent, 1+ years of experience, preferable in processing high volume of dataTell employers what skills you have
