Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and support Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022)

Manage, configure, and monitor Azure IaaS / PaaS services including :

Virtual Machines (VMs)

Azure Active Directory / Entra ID

Azure Backup & Site Recovery

Azure Monitor & Log Analytics

ARM Templates / Bicep / Terraform (is a plus)

Perform cloud migrations of Windows workloads to Azure

Configure and support hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, ADFS)

Automate tasks and infrastructure provisioning using PowerShell or Azure CLI

Monitor infrastructure performance and security, leveraging Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, etc.

Maintain documentation, perform capacity planning, and contribute to cloud governance policies

CIS Hardening, monitor backup jobs, and set up alerts

Optimise Azure resources based on monthly metrics data statistics

End-to-end responsibility with minimal or zero supervision

Knowledge and working experience in Trend Micro (EPP)

Regular firewall review (NSG)

Required Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on Windows Server administration

4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

Proven experience in deploying and managing Azure-based Windows workloads

Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP

Skilled in PowerShell scripting and Azure automation

Experience with Azure networking concepts – VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute

Solid understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher

Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JSM

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM / Bicep / Terraform (is a plus)

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices (is a plus)

Experience in working within Public Sector (is a plus)
