Roles & Responsibilities

IFCHOR GALBRAITHS is looking for a Junior LNG Shipbroker to join our growing LNG team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to build a career in LNG shipbroking within one of the world’s leading international brokerage firms.

As part of our LNG desk, you will gain hands-on exposure to the global LNG shipping market, learn from experienced brokers, and contribute to the success of the team. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ambition to grow into a full deal-making role.

Responsibilities

Support the LNG team with market research, vessel tracking, and contract administration.

Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders.

Prepare and distribute market reports, insights, and data analysis.

Learn to negotiate and participate in LNG chartering transactions alongside senior brokers.

Proactively identify opportunities to contribute to the growth of the LNG desk in Singapore.

Skills & Experience

Strong interest in shipping, energy, or commodity markets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commercially minded with an analytical and proactive approach.

Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Previous internship or entry-level experience within the LPG or LNG markets being highly beneficial.
