We are looking for a proactive Sales Manager with strong sales acumen to join a leading global Marine company based company in Singapore. This role involves market research, lead generation, and client relationship management to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, identify new opportunities, and stay ahead of industry trends in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities :
Strategically drive lead generation efforts to identify business development opportunities and allocate them to the appropriate business units and sales teams.
- Contribute to the enhancement of centralized market and competitive intelligence capabilities.
- Track industry updates, market trends, and competitor activities, recommending relevant actions to respond to external changes.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of sales tenders and specialized pitches.
- Assist in creating and continuously improving high-quality, engaging, and precise business proposals, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Aid in designing and executing strategies to expand the presence in key regions and market segments.
- Identify opportunities for growth and explore strategic partnerships to extend the company’s market reach.
- Engage in industry networking and participate in relevant events.
- Support the advancement and effective adoption of the CRM system to strengthen client relationship management.
- Ensure marketing and sales initiatives are well-coordinated and aligned.
- Enhance client relationship management practices and service quality through the implementation of effective tools and strategies.
Requirements :
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the shipping industryIn-depth knowledge of the shipping industry, including global and regional maritime market trends.Familiarity with ship management and ship owner clients, target markets, and customer base.Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and grow.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
