Shipping Executive

The Role:

As a Shipping Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and logistics operations of the company. You will ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of import/export shipping documents.
• Liaise with Freight forwarders, shipping lines, and courier services.
• Liaise with Internal departments & Government agencies (e.g., Singapore Customs, SFA, N Park, Enterprise Singapore).
• Ensure timely collection, delivery, and clearance of cargo.
• Track shipments and update relevant reports.
• Ensure compliance adhere to Singapore Customs regulations and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and internal tracking.
• Prepare reports on shipment status.
• Help with inventory updates related to imports/exports.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “O” Level.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding or import / export documentation.
• Familiar with TradeNet, Singapore Custom procedures and Free Trade Agreements.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and LC documentation is an added advantage.
