JOB DESCRIPTION – QA Engineer / Software Tester

About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Software Tester to join our QA team in Singapore . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing, identifying bugs, and verifying that products meet functional and performance requirements.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in Agile environments to define test plans, execute test cases, and help deliver robust and user-friendly applications to ensure the deliverables of our clientele projects are being met.

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle quantifying and analysing users’ requirements, performing exploratory testing, conducting functional testing using an automated test framework, and designing test cases using techniques and practices like boundary, cross-browser, and load testing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software products.
• Create detailed test plans (including test cases and scripts) for functional, performance, and regression testing, and oversee the execution of these plans.
• Promote and implement test automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics. Prepare and present reports on test progress and other relevant quality assurance metrics.
• Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that quality objectives are met.
• Identify potential quality risks in software products and processes, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that software solutions deliver a positive user experience and comply with the organisation’s standards and regulatory requirements.
