Roles & Responsibilities

Position : Interior Designer (Retail Fit-Out)

• Working Days : Monday to Friday
• Working Hours : 8.30am to 6pm
• Office Location : Eunos
• Salary : $3000-$4000 (Depend on Experience)

Key Responsibilities :

Concept s Design Development Develop creative and functional interior design concepts tailored for retail environments.

Translate branding and customer experience objectives into spatial design ideas.

2D Drawings s Technical Drafting

Prepare detailed 2D drawings including : Space plans

Furniture layouts

Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)

Elevations and sections

Joinery and construction details

Ensure drawings comply with building codes and fit-out requirements.

Create realistic 3D perspectives / renders to visualize the final retail space.

Model design concepts using software like SketchUp, or similar .

Present rendered views and walk-throughs to clients and stakeholders.

Retail-Specific DetailingDesign and detail shopfronts, display units, product shelving, cashier counters , and feature walls .

Incorporate signage, lighting concepts , and branding elements into the interior layout.

Material s Finishes SelectionPropose and specify appropriate materials, finishes, color palettes, and fittings.

Prepare sample boards and coordinate with suppliers for mockups or approvals.

Project CoordinationLiaise with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.

Attend site meetings and inspections to ensure design accuracy during implementation.

Documentation s SubmissionPrepare necessary design packages and documents for authority submissions (if applicable).

Maintain organized records of revisions, client feedback, and approvals.
