Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Architect the Future : Act as the lead data architect, designing logical and physical data models and making key decisions on our Azure stack (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks).
  • Deliver with Excellence : Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data platform projects, from initial concept and budgeting to final delivery and L3 support, using Agile and SDLC frameworks.
  • Empower the Business : Build the foundational data models, data marts, and ETL pipelines that provide pristine, reliable data for critical analytics and reporting.
  • Lead & Mentor : Guide and develop a team of data engineers and analysts, leading technical reviews and fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
  • Champion Governance : Collaborate with the data management office to embed best-in-class data governance, security, cataloging, and metadata management into our platform.

Requirements :

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technology field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of deep experience in data management, analytics, or MIS, specifically within a bank or financial institution.
  • Proven experience leading mid-sized project implementations and the ability to influence technical direction.
  • Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • A strong understanding of banking products, services, and the regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Relevant Azure or project management (PMP, SCRUM, ITIL) certifications.
  • Specialized knowledge in Financial / Management Accounting, Risk Management, or Capital Management.
