Key
Responsibilities : 1. Participate
actively in assessing the needs of the
children.
2. Work with and support the Centre
Supervisor and other staff at the Centre in enhancing the quality
of children's educational experiences.
3.
Contribute one's talents and professional expertise towards the
centre's initiatives, educational programmes and
projects.
4. Establish good relationships with
parents as partners in care and education.
5.
Keep abreast of the latest educational development and to
continually upgrade one's skills and
knowledge.
6. Role-model professionalism in
appearance, speech and action.
7. To take charge
of a group of infants in planning and carrying out the daily
developmental and care-giving tasks.
8. Attend
to the health, hygiene and safety needs of the
infants.
9. Supervise Infant Care
Assistants.
10 Assist in implementing a
developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum to provide a
quality learning environment.
11. Actively
engages in Centre initiatives and supports collaborative efforts
with the community
12. Create a secure
environment for young children through nurturing respectful,
responsive and reciprocal relationships with
children.
Job Holder
Requirements : Advanced
Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
Higher
Certificate in Infant Care(HCIC)
Good knowledge of care-giving tasks to
infants / toddlers.
Enjoy working with
infants / toddlers and passionate about care and pre-school
education.
Ability to work with initiative and
independently, and possess effective problem solving
skills.
