Job description

The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) in School ofPhysical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is looking for apostdoctoral fellow in applied probability theory and AI. The keyobjective is to support efforts of the research group of AssociateProfessor Ariel Neufeld.

The role will focus ontheoretical machine learning and stochastic optimization withapplications to finance and operationsresearch.

KeyResponsibilities :

Developingmodern numerical methods to solve optimization problems inoperations research and financialmathematics
Guiding research projects withinthe research group
Supporting research grantapplications

JobRequirements :

PhD in appliedmathematics or related field

Several years ofexperience as Researcher in the field of applied probability,numerical analysis, theoretical machine learning, stochasticoptimization
