The Macroprudential Surveillance Department conducts surveillance of the global and domestic financial systems to identify emerging trends and vulnerabilities. The Department undertakes policy–relevant studies on macro–financial linkages, systemic risk and other financial stability issues. It works closely with MAS's supervisory departments to ensure that both macro‑ and micro‑prudential perspectives are brought to bear on financial stability issues.
You will conduct stress‑testing and regular surveillance and analysis of the Singapore financial sector, with a particular focus on scenario analyses and stress‑testing of financial risks. You will be expected to undertake or advise others in carrying out research on financial stability issues that are of relevance to MAS as a central bank and integrated supervisor of the financial services sector.
