Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring an ECDA-certified Lead English Teacher to join a boutique international preschool near Mountbatten MRT from January 2026 . This role will be for either N1 or N2 , depending on student cohort.

The preschool is housed in a heritage black-and-white bungalow with a private garden, and was recently recognised as one of Singapore’s top three preschools. The environment is collaborative, low-turnover, and guided by the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) with strong Reggio Emilia and Montessori influences .

This opportunity is ideal for educators currently serving notice or planning a career move who want to step into a stable, inquiry-based international preschool with fixed hours and a close-knit team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a class of N1 or N2 children through daily routines, inquiry-driven lessons, and outdoor play
• Use storytelling, dramatic play, and hands-on exploration to bring learning alive
• Build strong relationships with parents during drop-off and pick-up (majority are international expat families)
• Host PTMs and curriculum townhalls independently in English
• Partner with an experienced international teaching team and classroom assistants
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and emotionally attuned classroom aligned with ECDA standards
