Mechanical Technician (Shift hours) / Manufacturing MNC / West - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a market leader in the Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Technician to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West area – easily accessible.

Responsibilities :

• Support equipment lifecycle management, including evaluation, selection, and ordering of machinery that is suitable and cost-effective for production needs.
• Oversee the setup, modification, upgrading, and routine servicing of manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work on both mechanical and electrical systems used in manufacturing operations.
• Handle troubleshooting, corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, and data tracking related to production equipment.
• Provide assistance in mechanical and electrical servicing, project-related tasks, control system support, and compliance activities such as ISO audits.
• Keep updated records of equipment technical notices, safety updates, and manufacturer-recommended upgrades.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
