Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production drawings by 2D drafting or 3D modelling using CAD software for design and build-to-print jobs.
• Carry out manufacturing process planning using ERP.
• Prepare Bills of Material from customer drawings or in-house designs.
• Provide technical support during fabrication phase in areas of machining, welding, and assembly.
• Provide technical support for outsourced parts fabrication.
• Collaborate with cross functions to ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost goals are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects as part of the lean manufacturing transformation.
• To use engineering tools to test and implement efficiencies in quality, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• To provide customer support / liaise / coordinate / follow-up with external customers on assigned projects.
• To monitor project deliverables.
• To facilitate collection of customer requirements during RFQ stage for design projects.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
