Full Time Lecturer (Graphic Design and Media)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Learning, Teaching, and Assessment

• Provide effective support to the School in teaching, including development and maintenance of academic standards.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and set assessment and learning activities to a range of classes (lecturers / tutorials / asynchronous) and age groups of students (including overseas colleges, if required).
• Administer the setting and marking of coursework and examination.
• Review and ensure the quality of examination papers under area(s) of specialisation.
• Manage the moderation of coursework and examination results.
• Conduct objective assessments on examination appeal cases.
• Monitor student progress through the application of formative and summative assessment strategies that support appropriate feedback and skills development.
• Monitor student success rates to an agreed standard across all student levels.
• Conduct objective assessments on examination appeal cases.
• Conduct administration duties pertinent to the programmes of study in the School.
• Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students’ academic performances.
