Technical Sales Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Configure solutions based on customer specifications and requirements. Provide technical support to sales during proposal phase by assessing technical information, identifying products & solutions that fulfil customer needs, and interfacing with customer and subcontractors

Prepare proposals and costing sheet of integrated solutions for SGI sales team using both Xylem and third party products and technologies. According to the selected process and customer specifications, request quotation from selected subcontractors or suppliers and pre-negotiate the received quotes. Compile all relevant technical documents for the tender submission

Develop engineering documents including Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams and general arrangement drawings, equipment, instrument and valve specifications, control philosophy etc during project execution stage

Assist the testing and commissioning activities together with project team

Position Requirements

Bachelor or Master Degree in Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Required : Well versed in varies process and equipment design and calculation for UPW, DI Water, process water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies, such as MMF, ACF, Softener, RO, UV, EDI, chemical and biological wastewater treatment processes

Minimum 5 years of working experience in a process / application engineer role in water treatment industry

Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to get things done

Passionate, highly self-driven and hard-working, portrays an Entrepreneurial spirit, a great team player

Inquisitive, solution oriented, can-do attitude

Closely follow up on new technologies, technologically deep and detail oriented
