Roles & Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Assess and identify individual needs
- Develop and deliver appropriate individualised intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team in areas of assessment, goal development, intervention strategies and progress monitoring
- Plan and run group therapy and general programs with other allied health team members
- Provide appropriate information, education and support for client group and caregivers
- Comply with professional clinical and service standards to ensure quality service delivery
- Support supervisor in clinical and quality improvement initiatives
- Evaluate and document clients’ progress at regular intervals
- Perform any specific projects and duties assigned by supervisor from time to time
REQUIREMENTS :
Good Degree / Masters in occupational therapy from a recognised University by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions ActHave obtained Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions CouncilPreferably at least two years of knowledge and experience in working with children and youth with special needs and a wide range of multiple disabilities and complex needsA heart to serve in the social service sectorPassionate about working with children and familiesAbility to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgroundsStrong commitment and motivation to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary settingsExcellent communication skills with good command of verbal and written EnglishPossess good problem-solving, organisation and time-management skillsTell employers what skills you have
