role

Our client is seeking an

experienced and proactive insurance professional for a pivotal

role. You'll be instrumental in leading the comprehensive

management of both captive and non-captive insurance programs

across their Singapore business units. You'll also provide vital

advisory support for their growing Southeast Asian portfolio. This

is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on

ensuring robust coverage for business operations, maintaining

strict compliance with local regulations, and implementing

effective risk mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities will

span the entire insurance lifecycle, from timely procurement and

renewals to leading tender processes, reviewing policy details, and

overseeing the efficient handling of insurance claims. You'll also

play a key role in the governance and financial performance of

their Captive Insurance Company, building strong relationships with

key partners, and contributing to broader risk management

initiatives and corporate

projects.

skills and experience

needed

To thrive in this role,

candidates should possess a university degree in a relevant

discipline and bring at least 5 years of experience in a similar

insurance or risk management capacity. Our client is looking for

someone with strong technical knowledge of insurance, including a

deep understanding of policy structures, coverage evaluation, and

claims management. Beyond technical expertise, the successful

candidate will need a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and

influence team members, along with excellent skills in managing

multiple stakeholders and driving successful project outcomes.

Analytical thinking and attention to detail will be crucial, as

will a proactive, resourceful, and continuously

improvement-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will also be

resilient under pressure, adept at managing competing priorities,

flexible and agile in responding to business needs, and a

collaborative team player with a proactive approach. Company is on

a hybrid working arrangement of 4 days in office and 1 day from

home.
