Senior Game Mathematician

Role Overview
Design and develop mathematical models for casino slot games, ensuring engaging gameplay, balanced mechanics, and compliance with required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mathematical models for casino slot games.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative game concepts and features.
• Build, analyze, and fine-tune mathematical models using Excel.
• Create rapid prototypes to evaluate game flow and balancing.
• Conduct simulations to test and validate the accuracy of mathematical models.
• Analyze player feedback and game performance data to refine game mechanics and mathematical models.
• Support the overall game development lifecycle and collaborate to resolve project challenges.
• Work closely with Game Designers, Software Developers, Art Directors, and Producers to deliver high-quality games.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Game Design, or a related discipline.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in casino game development (land-based or mobile), including mathematical model design.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of combinations, permutations, probability, and statistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for modeling and analysis.
• Programming knowledge, preferably in C/C++.
• Familiarity with Unity for prototyping is an advantage.
