Laboratory Technical Officer

Job Scope

Preparation of required reagents and materials for all

practical sessions (lessons, examinations, enrichment) held in the

labs under your responsibility

Responsible for

the maintenance of all lab equipment (including but not limiting to

glassware, sensors, analytical instruments)

Responsible for all safety issues (first aid box, PPE,

storage of chemicals, gas and water supply...etc) in the

lab.

Maintain all security and confidentiality

of materials especially during examinations

Assist in all procurement related to lab equipment and

logistics

Maintain general cleanliness in the

laboratory at all times

Response to other

duties deemed necessary by Senior Administration, Deans and Lab

Supervisors.

Requirements

Possess

minimum GCE 'O' Levels qualifications

Relevant

working experience in schools' laboratories is an added

advantage

Good communication and interpersonal

skill

• Good organizing skill

A team-player and also ability to work

independently
