Job descriptionMinimum Diploma in Purchasing / Supply Chain or equivalent At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment Strong negotiation and vendor sourcing skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems A proactive team player with the ability to work independently Detailed-oriented, confident, meticulous and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Sourcing quotations, negotiate price, terms and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by leveraging negotiation, value engineering, logistics optimization, and other innovative approaches to ensure total cost competitiveness.
- Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, including order tracking and resolve any supply chain issues that may arise.
- Proactively monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of purchase parts and materials.
- Liaise closely with internal department including Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering and Logistics to understand operational needs and provide effective procurement support.
