Prime Brokerage Operations Specialist (Settlement and Reconciliation) |12-Month Contract - MERRIES EMPLOYMENT LLP

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leading brokerage house and investment bank in ASEAN. The company provides services in corporate finance, debt markets, equity capital markets, derivatives, retail and institutional securities broking and research.

Prime Brokerage Operations is responsible for the end to end process of Trade Life Cycle; including Static and Reference Data, Trade Processing, Settlement, Reconciliation and Corporate Actions across all asset classes.

You will be part of the Prime Brokerage Settlement team, primarily focus on Trade Settlement and Reconciliation across asset classes.

Main Duties :

• BAU processing of department functions. You will be required to work early shift and on rostered Public Holidays.
• Processing and booking of trades.
• Monitoring and facilitating settlement of failing transactions with various Prime Brokers.
• Daily trade and position reconciliation; identify and resolve breaks timely and escalate issues that may arise.
• Participate in project roll-out and ad-hoc testing.
• Other ad-hoc operational duties as and when assigned.
