Risk Services - Financial Services Technology and Cyber Risk, Senior Associate at PwC. You will join a diverse, global team solving important problems with technology and risk management across financial services sectors, including banks, insurers, asset managers, payment services, and fintechs.

Our Risk Services Practice provides insights and independent assurance to help clients protect and strengthen their businesses, managing risks from cybersecurity breaches to supply chain disruptions across technology, resilience, operations, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and third parties.

Our practice focuses on building trust in clients\' digital agendas through technology, cyber and third party risk management in all industry sectors, with a priority on financial services. We are growing to meet demand for rapid development, regulatory complexity, and evolving digital risks.

How will you value add? We are seeking experienced Senior Associates to join our Technology, Cyber and Third Party Risk (TCTR) team to respond to demand-led growth. The team helps clients understand their technology, cyber, and third party risks and regulatory obligations, defines and executes strategies that enable business objectives within risk appetite while meeting regulatory obligations. We support clients in defining and challenging current risk profiles, developing and operationalising risk management strategies, and mitigating risk to stay competitive and resilient in a digital environment. We cover technology risk management, cyber security and risk management, third party risk management, cloud security and governance, and application controls, working with specialists within specific domains.

Responsibilities and in-scope focus areas include client service, risk management, and capability-building initiatives across the engagement lifecycle.

The role sits in the Assurance line of service, within the TCTR specialism, in the Financial Services sector (TMT X-Sector). The management level is Senior Associate.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and delivering technology, cyber security, and third-party risk assignments, including improving control environments, risk management approaches, producing documentation and reports, and quality assuring work by junior team members.
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve key controls across cybersecurity, business, technology, and third-party management processes.
  • Providing trusted, pragmatic advice to help clients navigate complex, risk-driven decisions.
  • Working on projects to improve and evolve processes, deliverables, and thought leadership.
  • Coaching and training junior staff to develop communication, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Supporting development of toolkits, methodologies, and accelerators, including automation and the use of generative AI.

About You

  • A good degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related disciplines with an IT focus.
  • Certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, PMP or other professional certifications is preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading engagements within a professional services or consulting environment; self-driven with strong teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) tailored to audience and client needs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to mentor and develop others while delivering quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and work independently to achieve goals.
  • Additional / Plus Experience : knowledge of risk and security management tools (e.g., GRC, CyberArk, Zscaler, HSM), third party risk management tools (e.g., Coupa, Bitsight, OneTrust), workflow management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA), and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
