Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose :
To safely transport workers, staff, Others (site officers) and materials to and from designated locations in a timely and professional manner, in full compliance with Singapore LTA regulations and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Daily Operations :
- Safely operate a 43-seater bus on pre-planned routes and ad-hoc trips.
- Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off of workers, staff, RTO / RE for inspection or materials.
- Dispatch work
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and project schedules.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Reporting :
Conduct daily basic vehicle checks (fuel, brakes, tires, lights, wipers, etc.).Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.Report any faults, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor immediately. Inclusive of liaise with workshop / supply with approval from supervisor.3. Compliance & Safety :
Comply with all Land Transport Authority (LTA) rules and regulations.Ensure passengers wear seat belts and follow onboard safety instructions.Follow safe driving practices especially at construction sites or congested areas.4. Documentation & Logs :
Maintain accurate daily travel logs (mileage, destination, timings).Ensure all transportation-related documents (driver’s license, vehicle inspectioncertificates, etc.) are valid and up-to-date.5. Ad-Hoc Duties :
Assist in minor site errands when not driving.Participate in safety briefings when required.Be available for overtime assignments when site progress requires.Job Requirements :
Valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A Driving License + Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL)Minimum 2 years driving experience, preferably in worker or staff transportClean Driving Record. No major traffic violations in the past 2 yearsFamiliarity with Singapore road routes and LTA rulesCompliance with LTA vehicle licensingVehicle must be inspected and certified roadworthy under LTA inspection regimePhysically fit and alertAble to speak and understand basic EnglishGood interpersonal skills and good attitudeLocation : Various Project Sites (Singapore), Changi AirportWorking Hours : Weekdays : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Weekends : 8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM, Overtime : May be required based on site progress and operational needsTell employers what skills you have
